The narcissistic tendency to lie reduces the size of their brains. Telling the truth doesn’t take any creative energy; the information is there, said and done.

The brain experiences betrayal and deception as physical pain in the receiver, particularly when it is constant and long-term because it creates a cascade of physiological responses that damages vital organs throughout the body.

However, the sender of lies is using a lot more brain power to create and justify the lie, along with all the lies that then must flow from the original leaky deception tap.

It is important to note that persistent deception is psychological abuse, which leads to the damage and destruction of vital functions including those of the cardiovascular, digestive, and immune systems, along with the communication between those systems.
