Long story, short, if you want a relationship with a narcissist to work you will need to disregard all human emotion. To keep a narcissist happy, you will need to sacrifice all your wants and needs and replace them with your partners.
In addition, you must accept dishonesty, mistrust, blame, cheating and any manner of degradation placed upon you.
With this in mind, you should also be aware of the fact that your inability to provide enough attention, drama, and novelty could lead to the narcissist leaving you.
Most people aren’t completely void of emotion though, so the narcissist will return. Thanks to hoovering, you will soon be free to lay yourself at their front door and enjoy all the scraps that come with being a narcissist’s doormat.
