So Much Talking & Very Little Action.
Why are people so full of advice today?

We’ve got 12-year-olds giving out make-up advice, homeless people talking about minimalistic living, people who have barely lived teaching others how to live their lives, parents without their children giving parenting advice, and the least spiritual people you will ever encounter are burning incense and humming for $5 a month.
Who are the people actually watching these ‘experts’? When did we lose discernment? You are a reflection of the people you associate with and the other way around, so why are people making horrendous choices about who and what they choose to connect with?
The first time I saw someone watching a video of someone else doing basically nothing I was reminded of that movie with the little robot who finally finds humans and they’re chubby seat dwellers entirely dependent on technology.
It turns out there are billions of people paying money to watch other people have no life, but stare into screens. The latter anomaly is potentially earning so they get a gold star for taking advantage of the opportunities presented.
We choose what to do with our time and energy and where we place it will define our values, each to their own, bearing in mind that your values reflect your value.
I’m all for expressing yourself, you can’t learn much about yourself and others without group-level analysis, but let’s get real about ourselves before we embark on a journey of professional advice-giving.
The one that gets to me is the overuse of spirituality and positivity, it’s gone so far that it feels fake and forced when it’s natural and easy. While truly spiritual people want to share the joy they’ve attained, they’re aware that each has their own path, and are passionate learners so aren’t interested in telling others how to live their lives.
Teachers share in an authentic way, often demonstrating lessons in life stories or in how they conduct their daily lives.
The whole big secrets of the universe science that AI is spewing all over the place, have been known for generations, many of those stories were told before the wheel, yet the sheep are flocking like flies on poop.
So, I don’t know why there are so many ‘experts’ spreading the same old rhetoric, but I do know one thing, the people who are really living good lives, aren’t spending hours talking about it on screens.
