Most religions strictly adhere to the sanctity of ones marriage vows and even those who refer to God as source or universal consciousness still hold high the virtues of karmic contracts, soul mates, and twin flames.
One difficulty with coming to terms with our divine calling is that you have to set some people and situations free. Narcissists are those people that are best left to work on themselves, even professionals have to politely close the door on such individuals so don’t be too hard on yourself about leaving the little critters.
