The Narcissist’s Flying Monkeys — Ignorant or Narcissistic?
Does it really matter?

Flying monkeys are those, sometimes innocent, people enlisted by narcissists to continue abusing or keep tabs on their victims.
I had to block a flying monkey a couple weeks ago, he didn’t seem to have the capacity to understand that someone in no contact with a narcissist is not going to want to be in contact with someone who is complicit in the narcissist’s abuse.
I let this person know this on several occasions before I finally had to block him for peace of mind.
This person seemed smart despite a serious lack of self awareness and perhaps other awareness, but I couldn’t work out if he was ignorant or complicit.
At the end of the day, anyone associating too much with a narcissist will find themselves picking up narcissistic habits, but I don’t think this person had it in him to be malicious.
Although, that’s exactly what narcissist’s do, they have a fake persona, and you slowly see the veil come away, and boom there’s a nasty little critter in there.
We’re all made of much more than our traits and actions, however, if someone isn’t respecting your boundaries, you don’t need to waste time wondering why. Wish flying monkeys the best to yourself and leave it up to them to put up with the narcissist.
Narcissist’s live empty lives, they never maintain long term friendships or relationships because once people realize they’ve been deceived and disrespected, the narcissists have to seek out new victims and flying monkeys while you get to go back to your fulfilling life.
Have some peace and self-respect and keep well away from narcissistic drama💚.
