Writing about our experiences through narcissistic abuse allows us to process and draw out those feelings of shame and guilt.

Through writing, making videos, art, and dance we’ve connected with fellow survivors, sharing and relating to one another’s anxieties and insecurities.

Sometimes, those personal anecdotes lead us into narcissistic behaviours, we start name-calling, belittling, blaming, justifying, and coming off like vindictive, broken records. Like narcissists.

“If what victims say seems offensive, it’s because it is, it’s raw, direct and downright ugly”.

Narcissists accuse victims of everything that they are, from ideas and feelings to detailed descriptions of the things they said or did themselves. We’re gaslit and blamed so much, we start to believe it all.

It’s easy to pick up on habits, gestures, languages, and quirks of the people we live with, particularly with trauma deeply embedding those events into our physical and mental memory.

  • We know the narcissists suffered their own set of traumas
