Christians love to use and abuse the word forgiveness to gather atonement for all their sins, and western science found it useful for similar reasons , as does the wider population whenever they’re also faced with the responsibility of taking accountability.

It’s so much easier to blame people they hurt for not being able to forgive than turn around, face themselves, and face up to their own actions that caused the so-called “inability to forgive.” God forbid, LOL

Western people have a tendency to dramatize the undramatic, a very useful talent in the arts, but somewhat dysfunctional to healthy human functioning.

You see, if you look closely at every little detail of what is being said, you might just notice the subtle use of control tactics playing into the denials and blames and turn arounds.

  1. Forgiveness is the last weapon because it means they’ve admitted a measure of fault, but before that measure is thus scaled, surprise , surprise, they need your forgiveness! This is so the subject is never brought up again until they’re comfortably back in your safe place. Then they’ll keep bringing it up just to see the pain in your face.
  2. Hooverers and longtime hang arounders are forgiveness drones, they sound like a low, monotone, humming background noise.
