Yes! I have to stop myself frequently from rabbiting on when a particular topic is on my mind, but when the person I've been talking to has left, I still wish I'd slowed down long enough to hear how their day was too. I don't think narcissists do that! I agree. The theory doesn't really touch on manipulation. Whereas an autistic person can seem or become manipulative in response to avoiding certain situations or an emotional breakdown in relationships, a narcissist's 'o-to' is manipulation, their entire persona changes according to who they're manipulating. The socially and emotionally intelligent narcissist is challenging to prove because they're incredibly adept at charming others and staying calm in front of people that don't know them that well. Also, the lying and blaming that comes with narcissism is so entrenched that they believe their lies no matter how obvious. Even with facts presented, they will either twist them or outright maintain the lie. Thank you for your response:)
